Astronaut Outdoor Mural
Marshall and Old U.S. 40. A large mural recognizing Chapman native Joe Engle hangs on the north side of the 1917 concrete grain elevator. At age 32, Engle was the youngest pilot ever to qualify as an astronaut, and he commanded three space shuttle flights—the Enterprise, the Columbia, and the Discovery.
