Railroad Yard
You’ll have a birdseye view of the yard from the overpass, which includes a pedestrian sidewalk, on W. Main between 3rd and 7th. Observing today’s modern activity, it’s interesting to reflect that this is the old railroad yard where more than 100 years ago you would have witnessed quite a different scene, one that included two roundhouses, a freight house, a telegraph office, and a two-story limestone depot.
