Known as the “Corrugated Cardboard Man”, artist Jessie Montes used ¼ strips of cardboard glued edgewise on a cardboard base, painted in bright acrylic paint to create incredible 3-dimensional sculpture and other abstract pieces. You have to see it to believe it! Duane and Orvileta West of Garden City began collecting his art in the 1990s and later became Jessie's agent. In 2017 the West's gifted their 53-piece collection to the Boy Scout Santa Fe Trail Council which opened a gallery in their building for the public to enjoy free of charge.
