Cozy Cafe
428 W. Commercial. Linda Lehmkuhl is only the second owner since this hometown cafe opened in 1954. She’s carried on the tradition of serving roast beef every day, one daily special each day (noted on the chalkboard), and pan-fried chicken on Tuesdays. Everything is made from scratch including the mashed potatoes, bread, and pie shells. The cole slaw dressing recipe is the same one used by the original owners. It’s homey and comfortable inside, so pull up a chair, loosen your belt, and dig in. Tuesday-Friday 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
